Staff Accountant

Location: Boca Raton, FL
Salary Range: $55,000-$70,000 (Depending on Experience)

Position Summary

We are seeking a detail-oriented and motivated Staff Accountant to join our growing finance team. The ideal candidate will have strong accounting fundamentals, excellent organizational skills, and experience working in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Manage the full Accounts Receivable (AR) process, including invoicing and collections.
• 
  
• Process Accounts Payable (AP) transactions accurately and timely.
• 
  
• Maintain and manage purchase orders (POs) within the accounting system.
• 
  
• Prepare and issue customer invoices.
• 
  
• Perform monthly bank reconciliations and vendor account reconciliations.
• 
  
• Assist with month-end closing activities and ensure accurate financial records.
• 
  
• Maintain organized accounting documentation and support audit requests.
• 
  
• Collaborate with internal departments to resolve accounting discrepancies.
• 
  
• Perform other accounting and finance duties as assigned.

Qualifications

• 
  
• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field preferred.
• 
  
• 2+ years of accounting experience in a Staff Accountant or similar role.
• 
  
• Experience with Microsoft Dynamics GP (Great Plains) or Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central is a plus, as the company plans to migrate to this platform next year.
• 
  
• Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
• 
  
• Solid understanding of accounts payable, accounts receivable, reconciliations, and general accounting principles.
• 
  
• Excellent attention to detail, organizational skills, and time management.
