Job Description

Staff Accountant

We are partnering with a growing organization seeking a Staff Accountant for e temporary opportunity expected to last approximately 3-5 months, beginning in mid-December.

Pay: $38-$40/hour
Schedule: Full-Time, Standard Business Hours

Key Responsibilities

  • Support month-end close activities including journal entries, accruals, and reconciliations
  • Prepare supporting schedules and documentation for financial reporting
  • Assist with year-end audit requests and inquiries
  • Review and support vendor setup processes within the ERP system
  • Help improve accounting processes, workflows, and internal controls
  • Perform ad hoc accounting and financial analysis projects

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field
  • 3+ years of corporate general ledger accounting experience
  • Strong understanding of month-end close processes
  • Experience with journal entries, account reconciliations, and accruals
  • Intermediate Excel skills including formulas, lookups, sorting, and filtering
  • Knowledge of US GAAP and financial reporting principles
  • ERP experience preferred; NetSuite experience is a plus
