About the Role:
Corporate Hiring Solutions Inc is looking for a detail-oriented and motivated Staff Accountant to join our growing team in Chelmsford, MA. Responsibilities:
- Prepare and maintain accurate financial statements, journal entries, and general ledger reconciliations
- Assist with month-end and year-end close processes
- Process accounts payable and accounts receivable transactions
- Support budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis activities
- Ensure compliance with GAAP and internal accounting policies
- Assist with internal and external audits by preparing supporting documentation
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to streamline financial reporting processes
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
- 1-3 years of experience in a staff accountant or similar accounting role
- Proficiency in accounting software (QuickBooks, SAP, or similar ERP systems)
- Strong knowledge of GAAP and general accounting principles
- Advanced Microsoft Excel skills, including pivot tables and VLOOKUP
- Excellent attention to detail, organizational skills, and ability to meet deadlines
- CPA designation or progress toward CPA licensure is a plus
