We are seeking a passionate Staff Accountant to join our team of professionals in the Columbus area. As a Staff Accountant, you will compute, classify and record numerical data to keep financial records complete; perform any combination of routine calculating, posting and verifying duties, to obtain primary financial data for use in maintaining accounting records. May also check the accuracy of figures, calculations, and postings pertaining to business transactions recorded by other workers. Verifies billing data and prepares information for invoicing and providing routine accounting services.
Requirements
Education: Associate's degree in accounting, Finance or Business. Bachelor's Degree is preferred
Experience: 3 years' experience in bookkeeping, accounting or related field, which includes use of accounting software applications (e.g. adding machines, calculator).
MUST HAVE A VALID DRIVER'S LICENSE
Skills and Abilities:
Computer Skills: Proficient in all Microsoft office applications and skilled in operation of personal computer, peripheral equipment (e.g., copier, fax, printers).
