Staff Accountant

LHH is supporting a growing manufacturing organization who is seeking a detail-oriented Staff Accountant to join its accounting team. This position offers the opportunity to work closely with operations and leadership while supporting core accounting functions, financial reporting, inventory analysis, and month-end close activities. The ideal candidate is analytical, process-driven, and comfortable working within a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

Responsibilities:

• Perform account reconciliations, investigate discrepancies, and ensure the accuracy of financial records

• Prepare and post journal entries, accruals, and account adjustments while maintaining general ledger accounts

• Support month-end close processes and assist with financial reporting activities

• Work with other internal teams to support manufacturing and inventory-related accounting functions

• Process transactions, generate reports, assist with audits, and improve accounting processes

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field

• At least 2 years of accounting experience, preferably within a manufacturing environment

• Strong experience with account reconciliations, general ledger accounting, and financial reporting.

• Experience working within larger ERP systems

• Advanced Excel skills including vlookups and pivot tables

• Exposure to inventory accounting, cost accounting, or manufacturing operations is highly preferred

• Strong organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills with excellent attention to detail

Pay Details: $33.00 to $43.00 per hour
