Staff Accountant

Salary: $68,000 - $72,000
Location: Downtown, Denver (Hybrid Schedule, in office 1x per week)

Key Responsibilities for the Staff Accountant:

• Prepare and reconcile general ledger accounts, bank accounts, and intercompany balances
• Support month-end and year-end close activities for assigned entities
• Prepare financial statements, management reports, and supporting schedules
• Assist with grant reporting, compliance requirements, and audit preparation
• Research and resolve accounting discrepancies and account variances
• Support budgeting activities and financial reporting requests

Qualifications for the Staff Accountant:

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field
• 3+ years of accounting experience in public accounting or industry accounting
• Experience preparing financial statements and account reconciliations
• Proficiency with Microsoft Excel and financial reporting systems
