This role is a great opportunity to build a strong foundation in general ledger accounting within a supportive and team-oriented environment.In this role, you will report to the Accounting Supervisor and play an active role in the general ledger and month-end close processes, with ownership over key accounting areas.This position offers broad exposure across the finance organization and an opportunity to expand your accounting knowledge while growing within a high-performing team.You will:Month-End Close & General Ledger AccountingPrepare journal entries and monthly account reconciliations to support an accurate and timely closeSupport key accounting areas, including:Accounts payableMBO/bonus accrualsOther accrualsEnsure completeness and accuracy of accruals through collaboration with cross-functional partnersProcess Improvement & Operational SupportContribute to the ongoing enhancement of the month-end close process, including identifying opportunities to improve efficiency and strengthen controlsPartner with Accounts Payable to review vendor activity and ensure proper expense recognitionSupport the preparation and maintenance of documentation for internal controls and external audit requestsAssist with special projects and ad hoc analyses as the business continues to scaleYou have:Bachelor's degree in Accounting (or related field)1+ years of accounting experience (public accounting or industry)Strong proficiency in Microsoft ExcelFoundational knowledge of US GAAPStrong attention to detail and organizational skillsAbility to take ownership of assigned areas and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environmentEffective communication skills and a collaborative mindsetYou have an advantage if you have:Experience with a general ledger system (NetSuite experience is a plus)Experience supporting month-end close processesExposure to accrual accounting and balance sheet reconciliationsSalary Range $68,000.00 - $80,000.00Life at Ping:We believe in and facilitate a flexible, collaborative work environment.
