Location: Denver, COOverview As a Staff Accountant, you will play a critical role in supporting the Xcimer team by taking ownership of critical accounting processes including accounts payable and GL accounting, while working cross‑functionally to support the business operations to understand incurred costs and help deliver results on a first‑of‑its‑kind fusion energy system. This full‑time, onsite role is based at our headquarters in Denver, CO.Responsibilities Perform day‑to‑day accounting duties in AP, cash management, GL and other duties as assignedAssist with the monthly close process by posting monthly journal entries, performing account reconciliations, and conducting ad‑hoc financial analysisSupport annual audit and tax preparation for federal, state, and local tax returnsOwn the purchase‑order, AP, and 3‑way match process ensuring bills are reconciled with POs and vendors are paid on timeAssist on projects and ad‑hoc assignments as neededQualifications Education: Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance1–3 years of accounting experience with direct exposure to AP, FA, GL, and cash reconciliationsSolid understanding of GAAPExperience with standard software solutions preferred (e.g., QuickBooks Online, ERPs, Ramp, Carta)Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite including complex Excel spreadsheetsExcellent verbal and written communication skills, interpersonal skills, and high customer service capabilitiesDemonstrated organizational skills with keen attention to detailProactive problem‑solving skills and willingness to take initiativeAbility to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively in a dynamic environmentProven ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with discretionMust be a U.S. citizen or national, a U.S. permanent resident (current Green Card holder), or lawfully admitted into the U.S. as a refugee or granted asylumDesired CPA (not required)Aerospace, defense, or advanced manufacturing industry experienceExperience with ERP systemsExperience supporting high‑growth or pre‑IPO companiesSalary $85,000 - $100,000 a yearBenefits Xcimer offers a comprehensive benefits package designed to support employee health, well‑being, and long‑term success.
