Staff Accountant

Salary: $80,000 + OT

Key Responsibilities for the Staff Accountant:

• 
  
• Prepare and post journal entries while maintaining accurate general ledger records.
• 
  
• Perform bank, balance sheet, credit card, and subsidiary ledger reconciliations.
• 
  
• Support month-end and year-end close activities, including accruals, prepaid expenses, fixed assets, payroll reconciliations, and account analysis.
• 
  
• Assist with accounts payable, accounts receivable, cash flow monitoring, and financial reporting.
• 
  
• Prepare audit schedules, variance analyses, and supporting documentation for tax, compliance, and regulatory requirements.
• 
  

Qualifications for the Staff Accountant:

• 
  
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• 
  
• 3+ years of accounting experience with general ledger and account reconciliation responsibilities.
• 
  
• Strong knowledge of month-end close processes and Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP).
• 
  
• Experience with accounting or ERP systems.
• 
  
• Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central experience is a plus.
