Staff Accountant

Position Overview We are seeking a highly organized, detail-oriented Accounting Individual to work with our day-to-day accounting operations, strengthen internal processes, and ensure timely, accurate financial reporting. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment and enjoys building scalable systems.

Key Responsibilities

• Process monthly, quarterly, and annual financial close processes
• Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable
• Maintain and improve general ledger accuracy within QuickBooks Desktop
• Ability to analyze financial statements (monthly and year-to-date)
• Reconcile bank accounts, credit cards, and key balance sheet accounts
• Partner with leadership to provide financial insights and reporting
• Support budgeting, forecasting, and cash flow management
• Identify opportunities to improve processes, automation, and reporting
• Able to communicate with company's CPA regarding company financials

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance
• 3+ years of accounting experience
• Experience with QuickBooks Desktop, Sage Intacct
• Advanced Excel skills (data manipulation, reporting, analysis)
• Proven ability to build and improve processes
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
• Excellent communication and leadership capabilities
