What You'll Do as a Staff Accountant

• 
  

• Manage full-cycle accounts payable and accounts receivable, including invoicing, collections, coding, and approvals

  
  
• 
  

• Prepare journal entries and maintain accurate general ledger activity

  
  
• 
  

• Complete bank, credit card, and balance sheet reconciliations

  
  
• 
  

• Support month-end, quarter-end, and year-end close

  
  
• 
  

• Assist with financial statement preparation and reporting

  
  
• 
  

• Maintain project budgets and track change orders and project costs

  
  
• 
  

• Perform variance analysis and assist with investor reporting

  
  
• 
  

• Support accounting across multiple entities and real estate projects

• Maintain corporate, vendor, loan, and project documentation

• Identify opportunities to streamline and automate accounting processes

What We're Looking For in a Staff Accountant

• 
  

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting required

  
  
• 
  

• General ledger accounting and account reconciliation experience

  
  
• 
  

• Experience supporting month-end close and financial reporting

  
  
• 
  

• Strong Excel skills and proficiency with Microsoft Office

  
  
• 
  

• QuickBooks Online experience preferred

  
  
• 
  

• Experience working with multiple entities is a plus

  
  
• 
  

• Consolidated financial reporting experience is a plus

  
  
• 
  

• Strong attention to detail with the ability to manage multiple priorities
