Staff Accountant
A well-established, publicly traded organization is seeking a Staff Accountant - Cash Management to join its growing accounting team. This role is ideal for an accounting professional who enjoys cash operations, reconciliations, and working cross‑functionally in a fast-paced, process-driven environment.

Key Responsibilities
Review and approve daily cash deposit postings, ensuring accuracy and timeliness
Verify deposits have proper documentation and audit trails
Partner with operational teams to investigate and resolve discrepancies
Prepare monthly bank reconciliations
Ensure intercompany cash transactions are properly recorded and reconciled
Research and clear unapplied intercompany payments
Address cash-related inquiries from internal and external stakeholders
Monitor outstanding and voided checks, ensuring timely resolution
Maintain detailed daily activity documentation for internal tracking
Generate and analyze reports to identify trends, discrepancies, and process improvement opportunities
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Accounting (required)
Prior experience in cash management, treasury, or cash application preferred
Experience with Blackline highly preferred
Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills
Ability to independently research issues across multiple systems
Experience with electronic remittance processing and cash posting systems is a plus
