Staff Accountant

Location: On-site – Las Vegas, NV

Pavilion Payments is looking for a Staff Accountant with hands-on general ledger experience to join our accounting team in Las Vegas. We’re looking for someone who understands core accounting principles, thinks critically, and can work independently in a lean environment.

What You’ll Do

• Prepare journal entries and account reconciliations.
• Maintain accurate general ledger records in accordance with GAAP and company policies.
• Support month-end and year-end close activities, including accruals, prepaid expenses, and fixed assets.
• Research discrepancies and analyze financial activity.
• Prepare documentation for internal and external audits.
• Assist with financial reporting and accounting process improvements.

What We’re Looking For

• 1-2 years of professional accounting experience.
• Hands-on experience with general ledger accounting, journal entries, reconciliations, accruals, and month-end close.
• Working knowledge of GAAP and standard accounting practices.
• Strong critical-thinking, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
• Excellent attention to detail.
• Ability to work independently and take ownership of assigned responsibilities.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Excel and experience using accounting or ERP systems.
• Ability to work on-site in Las Vegas.

Preferred Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• Experience with Oracle NetSuite.
