Job SummaryThe Staff Accountant is responsible for managing the accounting/financial aspects related to banking, inventory, fixed assets, and research & development within the organization. This role ensures that all related financial processes are accurately recorded, compliant with accounting standards, and aligned with the company's strategic goals. The Staff Accountant will work closely with other team members to help Bluberi optimize its resources to support the company's growth.Essential Duties and ResponsibilitiesManage the daily bank matching and reconciliation processes;Manage fixed assets module and maintain accurate accounting for fixed assets and internally developed intangibles, including acquisition, capitalization, depreciation, and disposals;Manage the Work-in-Progress (WIP) accounts, ensuring costs are accurately accumulated and assigned to the correct projects;Ensure accurate recording of inventory transactions such as purchases, transfers, and write-offs;Work with the warehouse to manage cycle counts and the year-end inventory count;Support the month-end and year-end close processes, ensuring timely and accurate financial reporting for areas of responsibility;Prepare monthly cash flow reports and related project schedules as related to fixed and internally developed intangible assets and inventory;Oversee the general ledger for assigned accounts; ensure all financial transactions are accurately recorded; prepare timely balance sheet reconciliations;Work closely with respective departments to understand changes that may impact GAAP reporting;Assist the Company in the annual audit process with external auditors;Develop standard operating procedures and enforce internal controls to maximize protection of company assets, policies, procedures, and workflows;Identify and implement process improvements to enhance efficiency and effectiveness within the accounting department;Leverage and assist in the implementation of technology to streamline accounting operations;Ad hoc duties, tasks, and projects, as assigned.Skills & QualificationsBachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field; CPA or CMA preferred;2+ years of experience in accounting, mainly with cost accounting and fixed assets; Public accounting experience a plus, but not required;Proficient in excel and keyboard touch typing;Strong knowledge of GAAP, internal controls, and financial reporting standards;Experienced in large ERP systems (e.g., NetSuite, Great Plains/Dynamics, SAP), including fixed asset modules preferred;Excellent technical accounting, analytical, problem‑solving, leadership and organizational skills;Strong communication and interpersonal skills;Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.BenefitsCompetitive Salary & Annual Company Bonus401(k)Health, Dental, & Vision insuranceFlexible hybrid scheduleUnlimited PTOEmployment at WillEmployment at Bluberi is on an at‑will basis unless otherwise stated in a written individual employment agreement signed by Bluberi's CEO.
