Job Description

Join a growing insurance organization as a Staff Accountant supporting month-end close, financial reporting, and general ledger accounting. This role is ideal for an accounting professional looking to expand their experience in a stable, collaborative environment.

What You'll Do

  • Prepare journal entries and maintain general ledger accuracy
  • Complete bank and balance sheet reconciliations
  • Assist with monthly and year-end close processes
  • Prepare supporting schedules for financial reporting
  • Analyze account fluctuations and investigate variances
  • Support external audits and regulatory reporting
  • Track fixed assets, accruals, and prepaid expenses
  • Partner with various departments on accounting-related matters

What We're Looking For

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance
  • 2+ years of accounting experience
  • Strong understanding of GAAP
  • Advanced Excel skills
  • Experience with ERP/accounting software
  • Strong analytical and communication skills

Compensation & Benefits

$65,000 - $75,000 DOE plus bonus, medical benefits, 401(k), PTO, and hybrid flexibility.
