Overview

We are connecting with Staff Accountants interested in onsite manufacturing opportunities in Fullerton and the surrounding Orange County area.

Ideal candidates bring hands-on general ledger experience, dependable month-end close support, and an understanding of how accounting connects with purchasing, inventory, production, and daily operations.

Responsibilities

Depending on the opportunity, responsibilities may include:

• Prepare journal entries, accruals, and supporting accounting schedules.

• Perform bank, balance sheet, and general ledger account reconciliations.

• Support month-end and year-end close activities.

• Investigate discrepancies and resolve outstanding reconciliation items.

• Support accounts payable and accounts receivable processes, including transaction accuracy, account reconciliation, and issue resolution.

• Assist with inventory reconciliations and review transactions affecting inventory and cost of goods sold.

• Maintain documentation for financial reporting, audits, and internal controls.

• Collaborate with purchasing, warehouse, and operations teams to resolve accounting discrepancies.

• Use ERP/MRP systems and Excel to analyze transactions and prepare reports.

• Identify practical improvements to accounting procedures and workflows.

Qualifications

• Approximately 3–5 years of relevant accounting experience.

• Working knowledge of generally accepted accounting principles (GAAP).

• Hands-on experience with journal entries, general ledger reconciliations, and month-end close.

• Manufacturing accounting experience or related experience in an inventory-based business.

• Familiarity with accounts payable and accounts receivable processes.

• Experience using an ERP or MRP system.

• Strong Excel skills, including formulas, lookups, and pivot tables.

• Strong attention to detail, organizational skills, and follow-through.

• Ability to communicate effectively with accounting and operational teams.

• Availability to work onsite in Fullerton or the surrounding Orange County area.

Preferred Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.

• Exposure to inventory accounting, manufacturing costs, or cost of goods sold.

• Experience supporting audits and maintaining accounting controls.

• Experience taking ownership of accounting processes within a small or midsize organization.
