Staff Accountant

Client Overview: We are partnering with a growing, multi-location restaurant brand with a strong national presence. Our client operates numerous locations across the U.S. and continues to expand. They are currently looking to add a Staff Accountant to their team.Salary/Hourly Rate: $25/hr - $28/hrPosition Overview: The Staff Accountant will support full-cycle accounting for a portfolio of restaurant locations in Florida. This role is ideal for a detail-oriented accounting professional who thrives in a fast-paced, multi-unit environment. The position plays a key role in maintaining accurate financials and ensuring timely reporting to operational leadership.Responsibilities of the Staff Accountant: Perform full-cycle accounting for multiple restaurant locations.Record daily bank activity and complete bank reconciliations.Reconcile balance sheet accounts and monitor cash activity.Manage POS sales data and perform POS reconciliations.Conduct variance analysis and investigate discrepancies.Assist with month-end close cycle.Prepare and distribute financial reporting packages (GL and P&L) to territory managers.Maintain and reconcile inventory reporting.Record payroll journal entries.Support sales & use tax filings and annual liquor reporting.Track and reconcile expenses.Partner with the Accounts Payable Specialist for invoice and payment coordination.Maintain fixed assets and scan/document supporting records.Utilize NetSuite for accounting processes and Excel (including pivot tables) for analysis and reporting.Required Experience/Skills for the Staff Accountant: 2+ years of staff accounting experience.Experience with multi-unit or high-volume transactional environments.Strong reconciliation and analytical skills.Experience with month-end close processes.Proficiency in Microsoft Excel.Strong attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines in a fast-paced setting.Preferred Experience/Skills for the Staff Accountant: Experience in the restaurant, retail, or hospitality industry.Familiarity with POS systems and inventory accounting.Experience with NetSuite or similar ERP systems.Knowledge of sales & use tax processes.Education Requirements: Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field is preferred.Benefits: Atrium Care Package available, upon eligibility (including healthcare plans, discount programs, and paid time off).#J-18808-Ljbffr
