Job Description:DLZ Corporation currently has an exciting Staff Accountant opening in South Bend, Indiana.
Duties & Responsibilities:
- Review and reconcile general ledger accounts.
- Bank reconciliation and review.
- Timesheet processing and administration.
- Accounts receivable and accounts payable processing.
- Project maintenance and accounting.
- Work with project managers to prepare and process contract billings.
- Perform all work in a safe and responsible manner, in accordance with the Health and Safety Plan.
- Possess aptitude to act as a positive representative of the company and its core values.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Job Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting.
- 0-2 years Accounting experience (internships or co-op experience considered).
- Project accounting and client invoicing experience desired.
- Construction industry / project costing background a plus.
- Strong knowledge of MS Excel and Word.
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Must be flexible and have a positive attitude that works well in a team environment.
