Staff Accountant Key Responsibilities:

• 
  

• Manage day-to-day accounting activities for two business entities

  
  
• 
  

• Perform month-end close activities, including journal entries, accruals, and account reconciliations

  
  
• 
  

• Prepare and review balance sheet reconciliations to ensure financial accuracy

  
  
• 
  

• Analyze monthly P&L statements, investigate variances, and identify financial trends

  
  
• 
  

• Support financial reporting and maintain accurate general ledger records

  
  
• 
  

• Partner with finance leadership to improve accounting processes, reporting, and overall efficiency

  
  
• 
  

Staff Accountant Qualifications:

• 
  

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field

  
  
• 
  

• Strong understanding of general ledger accounting, journal entries, and month-end close processes

  
  
• 
  

• Experience with balance sheet reconciliations and financial statement analysis

  
  
• 
  

• Ability to analyze P&L activity, investigate variances, and communicate financial findings

  
  
• 
  

• Strong Excel skills with excellent attention to detail and organizational abilities
