Are you a detail-oriented accounting professional who enjoys working in a fast-paced, hands-on environment? Our client, an established and innovative manufacturing company, is seeking a Staff Accountant with a strong Accounts Payable focus to join its accounting team. This is a fully in office position, and compensation varies by experience level, up to $68k.

Responsibilities:

• Manage day-to-day accounts payable activities, including invoice processing, coding, and payment preparation.

• Review and reconcile vendor statements, research discrepancies, and resolve payment issues.

• Assist with general ledger maintenance, journal entries, and account reconciliations.

• Support month-end closing activities and ensure accurate financial reporting.

• Maintain positive vendor relationships and ensure timely, accurate payments.

• Collaborate with internal departments to improve accounting processes and efficiencies.

• Provide additional accounting support and assist with special projects as needed.

Qualifications

• 
  

• Experience in accounting with a strong emphasis on accounts payable.

• Understanding of general ledger accounting and month-end close procedures.

• Strong Excel skills and experience working with accounting or ERP systems.

• Excellent attention to detail, organizational skills, and problem-solving abilities.
