THRS is seeking a Staff Accountant – Financial Operations who thrives in a fast-paced environment that blends core accounting with essential operational support. This is a unique "full-cycle" role where you will serve as the backbone of our financial data integrity.Approximately 50% of this role is dedicated to high-volume data entry and direct support for our global vendors and customers. The ideal candidate is someone who finds satisfaction in "clean data," enjoys helping people solve payment hurdles, and wants to grow their accounting career within a world-class international nonprofit.Key ResponsibilitiesFinancial Support & Customer Service (50% of Role)Act as the primary point of contact for global vendors and women-owned business members. This requires an adaptable communication style and the flexibility to occasionally support users in different time zones.Assist users with payment issues and billing discrepancies.Accurately input and process invoices, AP, and AR information. Exceptional attention to detail is required to prevent financial discrepancies.Core Accounting & AnalyticsExecute the full accounts payable and receivable cycle.Perform monthly bank and credit card reconciliations; apply an analytical mindset to identify trends or errors in financial data.Manage purchase orders and prepare payment requests for approval.Reporting & ComplianceMaintain real-time accuracy of accounting records using QuickBooks Online.Assist in gathering documentation for annual audits and Form 990/1099 preparation.QualificationsExperience: 2–5 years of professional experience in accounting or financial operations.Proven experience with basic financial analysis, specifically bank reconciliations and data validation.Professional experience with QuickBooks Online and Bill.com (or similar automated platforms) is highly preferred.Excellent written communication skills are essential for professional correspondence with international partners.Flexible mindset regarding working hours; while rare, the ability to respond to urgent, time-sensitive global requests after-hours is required.Bachelor's degree in accounting, Finance, or a related field.Global Communication & Cross-Cultural Adaptability.#J-18808-Ljbffr
