Staff Accountant – West Atlanta, GA

What You’ll Be Responsible For
• Record daily cash activity and prepare journal entries
• Perform general ledger and balance sheet reconciliations
• Assist with financial statement preparation in accordance with GAAP
• Analyze expenses and investigate variances
• Support month-end close (accruals, prepaids, payroll entries)
• Assist with audit preparation and reporting deadlines
• Support fixed assets, lease accounting, and compliance reporting
• Prepare cash reports, wire transactions, and cash flow forecasts
• Assist with budget-to-actual reporting and ad hoc analysis
• Contribute to process improvements and maintain documentation
Qualifications
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or related field
• 1–5 years of accounting experience
• Working knowledge of GAAP
• ERP experience required (Great Plains is a plus)
• Intermediate Excel skills preferred
• Strong attention to detail and communication skills
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines
