Staff Accountant with Accounts Receiable experience

Overview LHH is seeking an interim Staff Accountant with accounts receivable experience for our client in White Plains/Westchester County. This position is in the office 5 days/week.Responsibilities Cash Application: Apply cash receipts to customer accounts on a daily basisCustomer Account Reconciliation: Regularly review the AR aging report to address discrepancies, open deductions, and unpaid invoicesCollections: Daily review of past-due invoices and maintain a clean aging report by proactively contacting customers via phone and emailDeductions analysis, resolution and claims processing: Review the validity of customer deductions and required chargebacks, apply/clear all claims appropriately, and review/interpret proof of delivery documentation (PODs)Reconciliation of sub-ledger to general ledgerAssist with special projectsQualifications Bachelor's Degree in Accounting is requiredStrong knowledge of SAP and/or equivalent ERP softwareExcellent written and verbal communication skillsAbility to multi-task in a high-volume, fast-paced environment1–2 years of experience as a Staff AccountantExcellent organizational skills and ability to prioritize tasksTeam player with ability to work well independentlyPay: $30–$34/hr DOEEqual Opportunity Employer/Veterans/Disabled#J-18808-Ljbffr
