Financial Additions is searching for a Staff Accountant with Accounts Payable and oil & gas experience. This is an onsite position located in the uptown area of Dallas, but a few days each month can be remote. This is a permanent role (not contract!) and they are eager to hire!

Financial Additions is searching for a Staff Accountant with Accounts Payable and oil & gas experience. This is an onsite position located in the uptown area of Dallas, but a few days each month can be remote. This is a permanent role (not contract!) and they are eager to hire!
Responsibilities include:
- Prepare and post journal entries and account reconciliations
- Month-end, quarter-end, and year-end close duties
- Support internal and external audits by providing requested documentation.
- Review bank and general ledger account reconciliations.
- Review vendor invoices, ensuring proper coding and approvals.
- Manage vendor relationships, vendor master files, and invoice discrepancies.
- Coordinate weekly ACH, wire, and check payment runs.
- Monitor AP aging and ensure timely payments while taking advantage of available discounts.
Requirements include:
- 2+ years in Staff Accountant position with Accounts Payable duties
- Oil & gas industry experience
- Experience with ERP system and solid Excel skills
- Excellent organizational, and communication skills.
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance a plus
