The Staff Auditor will assist in planning and performing audit, review, and assurance engagements for a variety of clients across multiple industries. This position offers the opportunity to work closely with firm leadership, build strong client relationships, and gain hands‑on experience in a collaborative environment. This role is ideal for a professional who is committed to accuracy, client service, and continuous development in public accounting.Duties and ResponsibilitiesAssist with the planning and execution of audit, review, and other assurance engagementsPerform testing of internal controls, account balances, and financial transactionsPrepare audit workpapers and supporting documentation in accordance with firm and professional standardsAnalyze financial statements and identify inconsistencies, risks, or areas requiring further reviewReconcile general ledger accounts and investigate variancesCommunicate with clients to request financial information and clarify accounting mattersEnsure engagements are completed on time and within budgetAssist in the preparation of financial statements and related disclosuresStay current on accounting, auditing, and regulatory standardsWork collaboratively with supervisors and partners on client engagementsMaintain confidentiality of client information and uphold professional ethicsSupport other accounting and assurance‑related projects as neededQualificationsBachelor's degree in Accounting requiredCPA license or progress toward CPA certification preferred0–3 years of public accounting, audit, or related experience preferredKnowledge of U.S. GAAP, GAAS, and audit proceduresStrong analytical, organizational, and problem‑solving skillsExcellent written and verbal communication skillsProficiency in Microsoft Office, especially ExcelExperience with audit and accounting software preferredAbility to manage multiple assignments and meet deadlinesStrong attention to detail and commitment to high‑quality workAbility to work both independently and as part of a teamPreferred AttributesProfessional demeanor and strong client service skillsWillingness to learn and grow within a public accounting environmentAbility to adapt in a fast‑paced settingStrong sense of accountability and initiativeHealth, dental, and vision insurancePaid time off and holidaysContinuing professional education supportCareer growth and advancement opportunities#J-18808-Ljbffr
