Staff Engineer

Summary: Responsible for safe, and effective operation of industry specific equipment with the primary purpose of
performing engineering field inspections focused on testing construction materials for quality assurance. As a contracted

Primary Responsibilities:
• Coordinate geotechnical drilling, mark field borings, log field activities and perform site reconnaissance.
• Conduct lab activities as needed.
• Prepare and/or distribute boring logs, boring plans and other critical reports under the supervision of a senior
engineer.
• Assist local CMT projects with special inspection services.
• May assist with or conduct Construction Materials Testing services.
• Assist in the preparation of proposals for geotechnical, CMT and environmental services.
• Provide oversight and on-the-job training to additional CMT's and/or Inspectors.
• Assist with construction documents and daily field report reviews as needed.
• Represent the company at professional and/or client meetings.
• Perform other special assignments and projects assigned by Branch or Senior Management.
