Staff Pharmacist

Pay Range: $57.55/hour.  Employee benefits include, but are not limited to, health insurance (medical, dental, vision), 401(k) plan, and paid sick leave (depending on work location).
 
Key Responsibilities: 

• Interpret physicians' prescriptions and compound and dispense medications within regulatory guidelines.
• Consult with customers regarding medication usage and potential drug interactions.
• Counsel customers and handle complex problem resolution.
• Perform first and second verification of prescription orders and conduct Drug Utilization Reviews (DURs).
• Engage in outreach to prescriber offices and field phone calls from patients and prescribers.

Key Requirements and Technology Experience:

• At least 1 year as a registered pharmacist, with retail or similar experience preferred.
• Requires a valid RPh license.
• BS in Pharmacy or Pharm D.
• Experience in a retail pharmacy setting.
• Strong customer service skills and the ability to work efficiently.
