Staff Pharmacist

Serves as the Pharmacist-In-Charge in the absence of the Pharmacist-In-Charge / Pharmacy Clinical Coordinator. Performs technical professional functions of the Pharmacy Department according to the written policies and procedures. Provides continuity of Department services. Oversees the quality and safety of drug therapy. Screens all medication orders prior to dispensing. Provides extemporaneous preparation of pharmaceutical products. Oversee proper use of pharmacy inventory. Provide consultation to Medical Staff. Compile and prepare monthly pharmacy quality reports based on established department monitors. Maintain proficiency in use of the pharmacy data systems, assist in the fiscal stability of thedepartment. Perform otherduties as required.
