Responsibilities:
Conduct evaluations and develop treatment plans per physician instructions.
Document patient progress every six (6) therapy sessions or before follow-up appointments.
Provide therapy to improve mobility, relieve pain, and prevent long-term disabilities.
Supervise PTAs, technicians, and aides to ensure compliance with treatment plans and scope of practice.
Collaborate with healthcare professionals to ensure effective patient outcomes.
Maintain accurate documentation in EMR, including evaluations, treatments, and progress.
Educate patients on injury prevention, conditioning, and rehabilitation.
Deliver excellent customer service through clear and frequent communication.
Perform additional duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s, Master’s, or Doctorate in Physical Therapy from an accredited program.
Minimum of two years’ experience in an orthopedic setting preferred but new grads are welcome.
Experience with EMR documentation.
Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
