About the position:

  • Join an adult-service practice consisting of four cardiac surgeons, two general thoracic surgeons, nine advanced practice providers and several support staff members
  • Competitive compensation model including bonus options based on quality or key performance indicators
  • Participate in a center of excellence-designated multidisciplinary lung clinic
  • Preferred candidates are those within one to two years of completing their training or having one to two years of experience
  • Candidate must possess excellent technical skills in minimally invasive surgery as well as surgical management of complex lung, esophageal and chest wall malignancies

The physician is responsible for recording a detailed medical history of each patient in the electronic medical record, including, but not limited to, chief complaint, present condition, individual history, and family history. Performing appropriate physical examination of each patient. Analyzing reports and/or findings of tests and personal examinations in order to assess the medical condition of the patient, including diagnosing the patient's injury or illness and formulating a prognosis.

  • One of: DO or MD
