  • Monitor internal quality metrics, identify trends, and lead root cause analysis and corrective action efforts

  • Identify and lead continuous improvement projects

  • Use the CAPA system to address internal, supplier, and customer quality issues in partnership with cross-functional teams

Who you are and the experience you bring:

  • BS degree in Mechanical, Industrial Engineering or equivalent

  • 7+ years of quality experience in a high-technology industry, preferably in an electro-mechanical product development, manufacturing, and test environment, particularly in industrial manufacturing/assembly and/or precision machining industries

  • Experience with Supplier Quality Management methodologies (APQP, PPAP, SCAR)

  • Experience with New Product Introduction (NPI) stage-gate processes

  • Proficient in problem solving techniques/tools (root cause analysis/corrective action, 8D) and continuous improvement methodologies (Lean, Six Sigma/DMAIC, Kaizen)

  • Knowledge of Geometrical Dimensioning and Tolerancing (GD&T)

  • Experience with Statistical/Quality Tools (DOE, SPC, fault tree analysis, FMEA, auditing, cost of poor quality, control plan, safe launch)

  • Knowledge of Quality Management System standards (ISO9001: 2015)

  • Experience with Oracle ERP software

  • Ability to influence and build buy-in to product/process changes and the investment of resources

Preferred experience that differentiates you:
