Job Summary/Basic Functions

The Staff Scientist Staff Scientist will investigate the critical intersection of host metabolic health and tumor biology. Research will place special emphasis on how these dual mechanisms converge to promote therapeutic resistance and lineage plasticity, with the goal of identifying novel therapeutic targets.

The Staff Scientist will lead projects investigating how obesity alters the prostate tumor microenvironment, focusing on crosstalk among adipocyte-derived factors, tumor metabolism, and epigenetic states (e.g., histone modifications, DNA methylation). Uncover pathways that promote survival and lineage plasticity under therapeutic stress, including androgen deprivation therapy (ADT) and next-generation anti-androgens. They will be responsible for Multi-Omic Integration: Design and execute high-throughput multi-omic workflows that integrate data from RNA-seq, ChIP-seq, ATAC-seq, and metabolomics.
