Job SummaryLockheed Martin Rotary and Missing Systems is looking for a mid‑career Software Engineer in Orlando to support the Automatic Test Equipment (ATE) programs. The role involves developing, updating, and integrating software applications on ATE hardware and supporting test program development and integration.ResponsibilitiesContribute to the creation of design solutions for complex engineering problems in the software cycle.Utilize Model Based System Engineering (MBSE) to develop functional, architectural, and detailed designs.Enhance product design to provide added or updated functionality based on operational scenarios and customer requirements.RequirementsBachelors of Science in Computer Engineering, Software Engineering, Computer Science, or related field.5+ years of experience using C, C++, C#, or similar programming languages.Software design and testing experience in a professional environment.Experience utilizing Agile software development methodologies.Experience leading a development team of a software product.Desired SkillsExperience with Automatic Test Equipment software development.Experience leading a development team through the software life cycle.DCOM experience.Professional knowledge of digital and RF instruments (digital multimeter, oscilloscopes, analyzers, generators).Experience designing and integrating software for digital and RF instruments with API.Experience using SCPI.IVI Foundation software experience.Experience with both VXI and PXI instrumentation.Experience working in an integrated cross‑functional team setting (systems, hardware, integration, and test engineers).Security ClearanceU.S. citizenship required. Must be able to obtain a Secret security clearance.Work ScheduleSchedule: 4×10‑hour days, 3 days off per week.
