What You Will Do

Own and deliver major features from prototype through production deploymentDrive architecture decisions across backend systems and platform reliabilityBuild customer-facing LLM-powered systems at production scaleDesign and improve infrastructure for testing and reliability of non-deterministic AI systemsWork directly with customers to understand needs and shape product directionBuild scalable backend systems using Node.js and TypeScriptContribute to frontend architecture where needed using React and GraphQLImprove observability, system reliability, and operational toolingDiagnose production issues and implement scalable long-term solutionsCollaborate closely with leadership on product and technical strategy

Ideal Candidate Background

6+ years of full-stack engineering experience with backend depthExperience shipping customer-facing production systems end-to-endStrong startup experience in fast-paced, high-ownership environmentsStrong expertise in backend system design and distributed systemsExperience working directly with product and customersComfortable operating independently with minimal oversight

Experience building LLM-powered production systemsExperience with agent frameworks and multiple LLM providersStrong Node.js and TypeScript expertiseExperience with React and GraphQLExperience with MongoDB or document-oriented databasesExperience building testing/quality systems for AI productsTop technical education background preferred
