The team developed Scintilla, a platform providing actionable, customer-centric insights that empower CPGs and Walmart merchants to make informed, data-driven decisions efficiently. Focused on technical strategy, reliability engineering, scalability, and cloud-native architecture, the group builds innovative solutions. Members engage in operational due diligence and continuous improvement, fostering a culture of learning and excellence to support Walmart's commitment to delivering value through advanced data capabilities and cutting-edge technology.

What you''ll do:

• Deliver platform capabilities including infrastructure, tooling, and machine learning frameworks aligned with roadmap priorities.
• Drive full software development lifecycle activities such as coding, testing, deployment, monitoring, and maintenance.
• Apply cloud-native architecture principles to ensure scalable, resilient, and agile systems.
• Conduct system design reviews to validate quality and alignment with architectural standards.
• Build AI-driven applications and integrate machine learning components to enhance automation.
• Mentor engineers, influence technical decisions, and promote engineering best practices.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to translate complex problems into actionable technical requirements.
• Utilize data-driven approaches to define success metrics and optimize development processes.

What you''ll bring:

• Proven expertise in cloud-native architecture, including microservices, containers, and automation to ensure scalable and resilient systems.
• Strong proficiency in software design patterns, API design, and software prototyping to deliver maintainable and modular solutions.
• Experience driving full software development lifecycle activities, including coding, testing, CI/CD deployment, and observability.
• Ability to integrate AI/ML components using languages such as JavaScript, Python, Java, or C++.
• Demonstrated skills in DevOps engineering and platform tooling to enhance engineering productivity.
• Data-driven decision-making capabilities to define metrics and optimize development processes.
• Effective collaboration and communication skills across technical and business stakeholders.

The annual salary range for this position is $132,000.00 - $264,000.00 Additional compensation includes annual or quarterly performance bonuses. Additional compensation for certain positions may also include :
