Job Description

Job Title: Staging Technician
Job Type: Contract to hire
Location: Dallas, TX
Shift: 8:00am to 5:00pm Mon-Fri
Pay: $16/hr.
Essential Job Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Inspect devices for shipping damage and assess functionality

  • Test, charge, and replace battery units as needed

  • Load and configure network settings per customer specifications

  • Install and configure programs as directed by order details

  • Upgrade software and firmware on devices as necessary

  • Document and communicate any device or system issues with Project Leads

  • Repackage and label completed items for shipment according to order requirements

  • Perform general warehouse duties, including organizing and maintaining inventory

  • Ensure proper device handling and storage to prevent damage

  • Conduct quality control checks to ensure all devices meet required specifications

  • Troubleshoot minor technical issues and escalate more complex problems to technical support teams

  • Assist with device setup, including peripherals and accessories, as required

  • Follow safety protocols and maintain a clean work environment

Qualifications & Requirements:

  • Previous experience in a technology-staging, production, or systems support role preferred

  • General knowledge of mobile devices, including basic troubleshooting

  • Prior warehouse experience preferred

  • Excellent communication skills and ability to follow technical work instructions

  • Detail-oriented with a critical thinking mindset

  • Professional and dependable work ethic
