Perform TIG welding on stainless-steel tanks and componentsLayout and fit tank heads and shells according to blueprints and specificationsPrepare weld joints and ensure proper fit-up before weldingUse weld gauges to verify weld quality and complianceComplete weld logs, heat code documentation, and traveler paperwork accuratelyRead and interpret basic blueprints and shop drawingsOperate hand tools and fabrication equipment safelyUse overhead cranes and material-handling equipment safelyWork within confined spaces when requiredFollow all company safety policies and wear required PPESupport teammates and assist with additional manufacturing duties as needed

What We're Looking ForRequired Qualifications

Basic TIG welding experienceAbility to pass a 1G TIG weld testBasic fabrication skillsAbility to read a tape measure accuratelyBasic understanding of weld gauges and blueprint readingStrong attention to detail and commitment to qualityDependable attendance and work ethicAbility to work effectively in a team environment

Preferred Qualifications

Welding certification from an accredited institutionExperience welding stainless steelExperience with pulsed MIG weldingExperience in an ASME manufacturing environmentExperience operating overhead cranes and forkliftsWelding/fabrication experience preferred
