We seek Assistant State Attorneys who share our mission to keep the community safe, pursue justice transparently, fairly, and thoughtfully, and maintain public trust.ResponsibilitiesProsecutorial criminal casework, including preparation of legal documents, legal research, taking depositions, and interviewing witnesses, victims, and other parties.Trial work: case preparation for court presentation, examining and cross‑examining witnesses/defendants/victims, and summarizing cases for jury and non‑jury trials.Professional interaction with the public, law enforcement, and office staff; work independently or as part of a team.QualificationsAttorney must be either a 3L law student, a Certified Legal Intern, or licensed and in good standing with the Florida Bar.BenefitsEntry‑level minimum annual salary of $70,000.Florida retirement and insurance options.Attorney benefits, paid holidays, and leave.Employees must practice safe workplace procedures and follow policies regarding confidentiality, honesty, and attendance.
