State Opioid Coordinator (Exempt)

Under the general supervision of the State Opioid Project Director or higher-level officer, this position serves as the Project Coordinator for the Virgin Islands Opioid Rapid Response grant. Virgin Islands Opioid Rapid Response grant is a two-year SAMHSA initiative designed to increase access to and enhance services for individuals with an Opioid Use Disorder (OUD) through reducing unmet treatment needs and enhancing prevention efforts. This initiative will close gaps in evidence-based services, design primary and secondary prevention methods, and place greater emphasis on peer and other recovery support families and communities.

This position requires a confidential relationship to a policymaker within a two-year contractual period subject to the availability of funds.
