Statistical Programming Analyst III (SAS and Python)

Complete onsite first 90 days. Hybrid Onsite after that at Columbia, SC (3 days onsite)

Role is with PALMETTO GBA

Interview Process: 2 rounds First interview in person with manager; Second interview virtually with lead staff

About the role:
The team is currently transitioning SAS programs to Python on the on premises data warehouse. We are producing both routine and ad hoc reports, primarily in Excel. The ideal candidate will need to be willing to act as lead for the team as we transition SAS code to Python. This will involve being responsive to questions and providing training when weaknesses are identified. Someone self-driven and adaptable who enjoys staying current with evolving tools will thrive in this role. Making complex data understandable for any audience. Decisive when faced with ambiguity. Required Work Experience: 6 years statistical programming or statistical interpretation.

Preferred Work Experience: 8 years experience with statistical practices. 5 years statistical software and relational database experience. (may be concurrent)

Required Education: Bachelor's or Master's degree Statistics/Biostatistics, mathematics, computer science, or other job related field.

Required Software: Extensive programming skills using the following: " Cloud based data platform: Snowflake or Databricks " Data Visualization/Dashboard experience: Power BI or Tableau " Data Management and Analysis: Python and SAS
