Job Description
Seeking a hands-on statistician to support process development and characterization projects through experimental design, statistical analysis, and technical reporting. The role involves collaborating with process scientists and engineers to develop study designs, evaluate experimental results, and prepare study reports using in-house JMP tools.
Education
Master’s degree in Statistics, Biostatistics, Chemical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or a related discipline with at least 2 years of relevant experience.
PhD or equivalent degree with at least 1 year of relevant experience.
Required Skills
Hands-on experience applying Design of Experiments (DOE) to real-world process development problems.
Strong knowledge of statistical analysis methodologies and experimental design.
Proficiency in JMP, including statistical analysis and DOE applications.
Experience developing experimental study designs, analyzing results, and generating statistical reports.
Background in process development or process characterization.
Preferred Skills
At least 2 years of industry experience in biopharmaceuticals, pharmaceuticals, or medical devices, including relevant industry internships or co-op experience.
Experience with Minitab or other statistical and data-processing software.
Background in Chemical Engineering or Industrial Engineering.
Experience collaborating with process scientists and engineers on study design constraints, experimental execution, and process characterization.
