Steel Estimator / PM - Structural & Misc Metals

A structural and miscellaneous steel fabricator and erector near Gladstone is adding an Estimator / Project Manager to its team. If you're early- to mid-career and want hands-on experience winning work and then delivering it in the shop and the field, this is your opening.

Responsibilities:

• Manage awarded jobs from fabrication through erection, including schedule, budget, and change orders
• Coordinate closely with general contractors, detailers, the shop, and field crews
• Prepare takeoffs and estimates on structural and miscellaneous steel packages
• Handle submittals and RFIs while monitoring project costs
• Develop bids and proposals and collect detailing, erection, and coatings quotes

Qualifications:

• Able to read structural and architectural drawings with confidence
• 2-8 years in steel estimating, project management, or related construction work
• Familiarity with structural and miscellaneous metals scopes
• Degree in construction management or engineering, or equivalent experience, preferred
• Experience using estimating software is a plus

Compensation: $75,000 - $105,000 annually, with a yearly bonus opportunity and a sign-on bonus for top candidates coming from competitors.
