Steel Estimator & PM - Structural/Misc Packages

If you're early- to mid-career and want hands-on growth in both estimating and project management, take a look at this Estimator / Project Manager opening with a Kansas City steel fabricator and erector that specializes in structural and miscellaneous steel packages.

Your day-to-day:

• Coordinate with the shop, detailers, field crews, and general contractors
• Estimate structural and miscellaneous steel packages, from quantity takeoffs onward
• Manage RFIs and submittals while watching project costs
• Develop bids and proposals and obtain quotes for coatings, detailing, and erection
• Oversee awarded work through fabrication and erection, including budget, schedule, and change orders

What you'll need:

• Practical knowledge of structural and miscellaneous metals scopes
• 2-8 years spent in steel estimating, project management, or a related construction role
• Confidence reading architectural and structural drawings
• Estimating software experience counts as a plus
• A degree in construction management or engineering, or equivalent experience, preferred

Compensation: $75,000 - $105,000, plus a yearly bonus opportunity and a sign-on bonus for top candidates joining from competitors.
