What Youll Do
- Decontaminate surgical instruments and equipment, including drills, Da Vinci instruments, and scopes.
- Assemble instruments for all service lines, including trauma, loaner instruments, and peel packaging.
- Perform sterilization using steam and STERRAD processes.
- Complete high-level disinfection and scope processing.
- Maintain sterile storage areas and ensure items are appropriately managed.
- Serve as a liaison to the operating room as needed.
- Track instruments and equipment using the Censitrac system.
What You Need
Required- CBSPD certification or CRCST certification through HSPA
- Medivator experience
- Experience with decontamination, assembly, sterilization, high-level disinfection, scope processing, and sterile storage
- Ability to work the scheduled MondayFriday night shift
Preferred- Experience in a high-volume Level One trauma or comparable facility
- OR liaison experience
- Censitrac tracking system experience
- Experience across all areas of a sterile processing department
