OUR PURPOSE AND CULTURE

We are driven to create a future where people and place enrich one another. We are wholly committed to rooting ourselves more deeply in every place we are in while setting new benchmarks for positive impact. As a pioneering collective with a common purpose, we curate extraordinary moments and honor the soul of every place along our journey. At Rosewood Hotel Group, we answer The Calling. Together, we Make the Place.

THE TEAM

As part of the Stewarding team within Food & Beverage, you will report directly to the Stewarding Supervisor and play an important role in supporting kitchen, restaurant, banquet, and back-of-house operations. Working closely with culinary and service teams, you will help maintain the highest standards of cleanliness, organization, and operational efficiency throughout the hotel.

YOUR ROLE

As a Steward, you will support exceptional dining and banquet experiences by ensuring all kitchen equipment, utensils, tableware, and service wares are cleaned, maintained, and readily available. Your contribution is critical to the smooth operation of Food & Beverage outlets and banquet functions, helping create a safe, organized, and efficient environment for both associates and guests.

HOW YOU'LL MAKE THE PLACE

  • Maintain exceptional cleanliness, sanitation, and organization standards across stewarding, kitchen, storage, cafeteria, and waste disposal areas.
  • Operate and maintain dishwashing and cleaning equipment in accordance with established procedures and safety standards.
  • Clean, inspect, sort, and store dishes, glassware, silverware, kitchen utensils, pots, pans, and equipment to ensure quality standards are met.
  • Support banquet and food service operations by transporting clean and soiled wares and assisting with meal plating and service preparation.
  • Monitor and replenish stewarding supplies and report equipment issues or shortages to supervisors.
  • Use cleaning chemicals, equipment, and materials safely and responsibly while adhering to health, safety, and environmental guidelines.
  • Maintain waste management, recycling, garbage disposal, and compactor areas to the highest standards.
  • Deliver service with professionalism, teamwork, and a commitment to guest satisfaction at all times.

COULD THIS BE YOU?

  • You have previous experience in a stewarding, kitchen support, or similar hospitality role.
  • You can work with strong attention to detail, speed, and accuracy while maintaining high standards.
  • You are organized, dependable, and able to prioritize tasks effectively throughout your shift.
  • You work collaboratively as part of a team and can follow instructions with minimal supervision.
  • You have knowledge of cleaning procedures, chemical handling, floor care, and kitchen sanitation practices.
  • You communicate effectively with guests and colleagues and maintain a positive, service-oriented attitude.
  • You are comfortable performing physically demanding work, including prolonged standing, walking, lifting, bending, and moving equipment.
  • You can speak, read, and write English, with additional language skills considered an advantage.

OUR BENEFITS

As part of our team, you'll enjoy a thoughtfully designed benefits package that supports your wellbeing, professional growth, and life beyond work. This includes medical coverage, retirement benefits, paid time off, complimentary room nights, learning and development opportunities, global career opportunities, and industry-leading paid parental leave supporting eligible associates across all paths to parenthood.

OUR COMMITMENT TO YOU

At Rosewood Hotel Group, your voice is heard - and valued. We're a community that encourages associates to be themselves, not fit into a fixed culture, and this philosophy shines through in our commitments to reflect and honor the history, culture and geography of our destinations. We're not only committed to building and nurturing genuine, long-lasting relationships but to transforming them - and our Diversity, Equity and Inclusion (DEI) strategy helps put these principles into practice.
