Steward - Full Time
Four Seasons Hotel Seattle is looking for a Steward who shares our passion for excellence and is enthusiastic about creating the ultimate service experience. Our Stewards are a part of a dynamic team that supports all our Food and Beverage outlets in providing award-winning service. This position reports to the Assistant Stewarding Manager. U.S. work authorization is required for this position.
Key Elements of the Job:
- Clean and sanitize china, glass, and silver using a dish machine
- Maintaining the sanitation of all major kitchen equipment, culinary and food and beverage facilities
- Clean and sanitize all pots, pans, and kitchen utensils
- Maintaining the silver polishing program
- Utilizing and handling cleaning supplies and chemicals in a safe manner
Preferred Qualifications and Skills:
- High school education (preferred)
- Working knowledge is typically learned on-the-job. Previous stewarding experience is a plus but not a requirement.
- Ability to operate, maintain and properly clean dishwashing machine, sinks, floor cleaning equipment, and silver burnisher
- A positive and energetic demeanor
