Position Overview:

The Store Associate responsibilities include providing friendly and efficient customer service, accurately processing purchases, handling cash transactions, and assisting customers with curbside pickup orders. The role also involves stocking shelves, organizing merchandise, maintaining store cleanliness, following inventory and safety procedures, and ensuring products are properly displayed. Employees work independently and as part of a team to support daily store operations and provide customers with a positive shopping experience.

 

This position is located in Staten Island, New York. 

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide friendly and efficient customer service to ensure a positive shopping experience.
• Operate the cash register, process customer transactions, and handle payments accurately.
• Stock shelves, replenish merchandise, and maintain proper product displays.
• Unload deliveries, organize inventory, and rotate products as needed.
• Maintain store cleanliness, organization, and compliance with safety standards.
• Assist customers with product inquiries and direct them to the appropriate items.
• Follow company policies, operational procedures, and workplace safety guidelines.
• Work collaboratively with team members to complete daily tasks efficiently.
• Support multiple store functions, including cashiering, stocking, cleaning, and merchandise handling.
• Maintain productivity, accuracy, and attention to detail in a fast-paced environment.

Requirements:

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Minimum of 6 months of recent retail experience is required.
• Strong customer service and communication skills required.
• Ability to handle multiple tasks in a fast-paced retail environment.
• Ability to work effectively with coworkers and complete tasks efficiently.
• Must have open availability, including early mornings, nights, weekends, and holidays.
• Reliability, punctuality, attention to detail, and a strong work ethic.
• Ability to stand for extended periods and safely lift or move merchandise, with or without reasonable accommodation.

Pay Range: USD $21.00 - USD $21.00 /Hr.
