Store Manager Overview and Responsibilities:

The Store Manager will help to create and maintain a strong culture where everyone works together to establish a thriving work environment and where everyone feels appreciated for their contributions.

Store Manager role:

• Responsible for, and active in, full store operation
• Staff supervision: oversee staff hiring, scheduling, training, and effectiveness
• Oversee inventory team and merchandise levels
• Respectful contact with staff and customers at all times
• Ensure delivery of excellent customer service
• Review financial and staff performance with owner weekly
• Manage payroll budget
• Handle customer complaints and queries
• Maximize profitability and productivity
• Meet/exceed sales goals
• Ensure compliance with safety regulations
• Provide opportunities for staff advancements

Requirements:

• 2 years minimum retail/resale experience
• Previous management of 5 or more direct reports/employees
• Willing and open to learning and growing
• Basic business knowledge relative to retail, sales, and customer service
• Organizational and team-working skills
• Excellent verbal and communication skills
• Enthusiastic, strong, problem-solving mindset
