About the Role: Churchgate Protective Services is looking for a driven and experienced Store Manager to lead operations at our Valley Stream, NY location. This is an exciting opportunity to take ownership of a dynamic retail environment, inspire a team, and deliver exceptional results every day.
Responsibilities:
Oversee daily store operations to ensure efficiency, productivity, and a positive customer experience
Recruit, train, schedule, and manage store staff to maintain optimal team performance
Monitor inventory levels, conduct stock audits, and coordinate replenishment as needed
Drive sales performance by setting goals, tracking KPIs, and implementing improvement strategies
Enforce company policies, safety standards, and loss prevention procedures
Handle customer inquiries, complaints, and escalations in a professional manner
Prepare and manage store budgets, reports, and financial performance metrics
Requirements:
1-3 years of retail management or supervisory experience required
Strong leadership, communication, and team-building skills
Proven ability to meet and exceed sales targets and operational goals
Experience with inventory management and point-of-sale (POS) systems
Ability to work a flexible schedule, including weekends and holidays
High school diploma or equivalent required; bachelor's degree preferred
Knowledge of loss prevention and retail security practices is a plus
