ABOUT THE OPPORTUNITY

Americas Thrift is looking for experienced retail and operations leaders who know how to build strong teams, drive business results, and manage the day-to-day challenges of a fast-paced store environment.

We are seeking individuals with a strong background in store management, including those who have served as General Managers, Store Managers, Assistant Store Managers, or Operations Managers. Our ideal candidate understands what it takes to lead a successful business, develop people, manage performance, and create an environment where both team members and customers thrive.

This is a hands-on leadership opportunity for someone who enjoys being involved in all aspects of store operations and wants to contribute to the continued growth of Americas Thrift.

WHAT YOULL BE INVOLVED IN

Our store leadership teams oversee a unique combination of retail, production, inventory, and donation operations. Depending on the needs of the business, responsibilities may include:

• Business Performance: Supporting store sales, profitability, productivity, labor management, and operational goals.
• Team Leadership: Recruiting, hiring, training, coaching, and developing team members and supervisors while building a culture of accountability.
• Store Operations: Helping oversee daily activities across retail, production, inventory, merchandising, and donation processing.
• Financial Accountability: Understanding business reports, monitoring key performance indicators, controlling expenses, and identifying opportunities to improve results.
• Operational Excellence: Ensuring merchandise quality, inventory flow, pricing, safety, and company standards are consistently maintained.
• Customer & Donor Experience: Creating a positive environment for customers, donors, and team members while supporting relationships within the community.
• Talent Development: Identifying future leaders, building strong teams, and supporting succession planning and internal advancement.

THE EXPERIENCE WERE LOOKING FOR

We are especially interested in connecting with leaders who bring:

• Previous management experience in retail, big-box retail, grocery, thrift, warehouse, production, logistics, or other high-volume operational environments.
• Experience leading large teams, including supervisors or other leaders.
• A strong understanding of store performance, sales, labor management, productivity, and financial results.
• Proven success in hiring, coaching, developing, and retaining team members.
• The ability to balance customer service, employee engagement, and operational expectations.
• Strong decision-making, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
• A hands-on leadership style and willingness to jump in wherever the business needs support.
• Experience managing multiple departments or areas of a business.
